Sabemos que la complementariedad de los opuestos ayuda al desarrollo del individuo. Cada característica o capacidad, femenina o masculina, se deja arrullar por el componente opuesto, logrando la apertura de dicha capacidad y su completud con el aporte del oponente.

El universo está integrado por la suma de lo femenino y lo masculino, como la vida misma lo demuestra. La gestación de un nuevo ser necesita de estas dos características para que el soplo divino lo habite. Esta es la razón por la cual he querido recrear la complementariedad del Este (masculino) con la Virtud Cardinal de la Prudencia (femenina). Ambos se equilibran desde su origen con la ayuda del discernimiento de lo bueno y de lo malo, a fin de seguir al primero y huir del segundo. Y con el objetivo de tener la medida de la acción para desarrollar la vida que nace, al igual que la luz, expandiendo su luminosidad hasta penetrar cada rincón al que está destinada.

Imaginemos nuestro Este, que surge del mar. La luz de cada jornada, con la fuerza engendradora que transforma el paisaje y acompañada por la Prudencia, que conlleva la capacidad de discernir la medida de lo que se va a dar o hacer. Imaginemos caminar guiados por ese resplandor, y ayudados por la necesidad de ser cautelosos en el avance.

We know that the complementarity of opposites helps the individual development. Each distinctive quality or capacity, feminine or masculine, is being lulled by the opposite component, achieving the aperture of such capacity and its completedness by the opposite.

As life shows us, the universe is formed by the sum of the feminine and the masculine. The gestation of a new being needs both qualities to be inhabited by the divine breath. That is why I wanted to represent the complementarity of the East (masculine) and the Cardinal Virtue of Prudence (feminine). They both balance themselves from their origin, helped by the discernment between good and bad, with the purpose of following the first one and keeping away from the second one. With the goal to measure the action, to develop the nascent life, such as the light, that expands its brightness, penetrating into each destined corner.

Let us imagine our East arising from the sea. Each day’s light, having the begetters strength that transforms the landscape, and accompanied by the Prudence, carrying the ability to discern the measure of what will be given or done. Let us imagine walking guided by the splendor and helped by the need to be cautious in the advance.
